Steve Trend

Following a traditional apprenticeship in fabrication and welding, Steve moved to Finland to work as a Technician Engineer with Magnus Malmberg, Consulting Engineers. Over six years in Helsinki, he worked on numerous large scale industrial, commercial and residential projects in Finland, Russia and Iraq.

On returning to the UK, Steve attained Incorporated Engineer status with the Institute of Structural Engineers (1988). He worked at Dewhurst Macfarlane & Partners as well as Nickalls & Roche.

Steve then joined MBOK as an Associate partner in 1994. Working closely with Orla, he is involved in the day to day running and design of a broad range of construction projects; from the very small domestic extensions through to the large commercial and residential developments.
