Orla Kelly

Orla Kelly graduated with a degree in Engineering from University College Dublin in 1987 (having also studied Architecture there for 3 years). She has previously worked at Dewhurst Macfarlane & Partners and Price & Myers and has engineered several RIBA award-winning buildings over her career.

Orla combines her consultancy design work with acting as guest technical tutor to various architectural institutions; this year to a Diploma unit in the Royal College of Art and to the Degree students in Waterford Institute of Technology. She has been in the past a part-time tutor at Architectural schools in Central and East London Universities, High Wycombe, Greenwich, Oxford Brooks, the Architectural Association and the Bartlett.

Working closely with Steve Trend, Orla manages the teams working on medium and smaller scale projects in the office, and enjoys the detailed design as much as ever.
