Mixed use development: new build and refurbishment

This is the redevelopment of a former Royal Mail site in Islington.

Once complete, the site will contain a shopping centre, several business/office units, over 300 residential units (a mix of flats (private and affordable), maisonettes and serviced apartments), together with some car parking.

One of the buildings will be completely rebuilt behind a retained facade - including the excavation of a new double basement approximately 12m deep.

Another is being largely refurbished, although an additional floor is also being added on top and the internal courtyards are being extended.

Works on site have recently commenced on this project and mbok are working on both the temporary and permanent works.
